Clothing, Matching your coworkers'

If you and another library colleague arrive at work wearing remarkably similar outfits, you both automatically qualify for a one-time $500 wardrobe bonus and a paid "shopping day."

Editor's note: To claim this offer, just print this page and give it to your immediate library supervisor.

Happens more times than I can recall! That would be a great supplement to my income!

In all honesty, I have gone home and changed when people showed up wearing waaaay too similar clothing to my own.

Is this library kismet or something? I've had a VERY chatty patron stop mid-sentence, and look from me to a coworker, then back and ask, "Do you two call eachother in the morning and decide what to wear?"

In the summer, our library actually institutes "apparel" day. We pick a theme and then everyone tries to dress accordingly. Sometimes, we even do a twin thing where you find a buddy and come up with an appropriate twin theme. It is usually a lot of fun and creates bonding.

A coworker and I ended up wearing the same outfit, so we took our picture and sent it to the Tumblr website "Did You Get the Memo." Can't help but laugh about it.

As one of the librarians in the picture, I completely support this idea!

More likely that'll become the new uniform.
